PC is the cheapest in the end, games digital, especially trough sales and cd-key websites cost almost nothing, and you can run games on the best settings and everything these days supports controller if you like that more then mouse/keyboard and your xbox controller will work.
pc meens you can start a new generation of gaming whenever YOU decide its time.
also people who think you need to upgrade a lot, dont be fooled, my 5 year old 2600k is still high end and my old 780gtx still runs everything on very high settings
since consoles move very slow, pc will generally run all console games even on old hardware, and do it better.
there are more games available overall and with xbox games coming to pc, come on... its the cherry on the cake.
I love my ps4, 3ds etc... but i play at least 75% of my games on pc and with nice framerates and free multiplayer, It feels great
