The media are massively biased against Corbyn because they know that he doesn't like them and would demand more taxes to be paid by them and other large corporations, hence why if you look to any media outlet (T.V, Newspapers etc.) they slate him and love to focus on all of the negatives that happen to him. Compare that to our un-elected Tory government, they hate the poor and dis-advantaged, so continue to put them under the cosh and squeeze them for every penny they've got, all whilst claiming massive amounts of money in expenses on top of their £100 000+ salary. Corbyns M.P's have been very dishonest and have basically stabbed him in the back and destroyed their own parties reputation, all by jumping on him for supporting what he believes in - these are the people that have joined the party in recent years, and can only be called 'Blairites', or Tory-juniors. O.P - could you please tell us your political beliefs btw, I'm interested to know what you are in support of and against. -Sam |
This conspiracy theory stuff is quite funny. The media are digging into him because his policy ideas are from the 70s; tried, tested and failed. The country wasn't exactly in good shape and lead to nearly 20 years of Tory government. If Corbyn stays then we're likely to end up in the same position. Even the left wing media have mixed views and his overall performance since becoming leader has been close to useless. We have a pretty good idea what his views are and what he's against in the Tories, but what concrete and realistic policies have been put forward since he's been leader?
It's also quite funny how 80% of Labour MPs are now 'Blairites'. Even MPs that supported him when he was elected are now turning against him. Only his closest allies still support him. Maybe, just maybe, it's possible he's just an incompetent leader/manager.
All the polls show his chances of winning a general election is close to nil. The labour membership only make up a very small percentage of the electorate meaning labour are going to remain pretty irrelevant for the forseeable future. The Tories already feel like they have no significant opposition.
With all that said, I don't really have much faith in the other labour MPs, but they can't do any worse than Corbyn.
