| Smidlee said: Just because the Wii Fit itself sells more than PS3 in Japan doesn't guarantee success of third party games using the board. My wife is excited about Wii Fit as well as a few others I know but I wouldn't bet on them going out and buying another game that uses the board anytime soon. Just as with motion controls there is only so much you can do with the balancing board. Wii fit by itself seems to cover alot of uses for the board. |
Two Points
1) The person who bought Wii Fit isn't going to be the only user of the Wii System. Some one else in the household may buy a game that uses the Board, in a way Wii Fit is a trojan horse for the Board.
2) The mini games in Wii Fit are just that - mini, a person new to gaming might wish for a fuller experiance, this is where games like We Ski come in.
