First and foremost people are acting about this because it’s very apparent that Melania Plagiarize some lines from Michelle speech. But not only that she sat there on TV and lied that she wrote her speech. After that every, Trump paid PR person including many other Republicans came out and tried to spin it every which way you can instead of just saying the truth. The point is that through all of this they made themselves look incredibly bad by not owning up to the mistake and moving own. Probably would have gain some respect by just telling the truth instead of trying to spin such an obvious lift and lie their way out of it.
When you are hammering the other candidate about being honest, but you have a perfect opportunity to show your honesty and totally blow it, it makes you look very bad in my book. I believe this was a perfect opportunity for the Trump campaign to show when under a situation where honesty was the correct choice they totally failed.
