Honestly, do they need to emulate Nintendo to achieve that kind of success? Formulas like these most likely won't work if they're tried again. Also, both companies don't need the bad publicity for copying Nintendo's idea. Fans would just look at their attempts as cheap cash grabs and wouldn't buy them. Both companies need to look for success with their own formulas and ideas.
