What does an ancient invention from Greece, that a British man come up with the more modern version of, have to do with Islam?  Nothing. So don't give credit where it is not due.  

 

 

If you are going to believe that your God is responsible for all life on the planet I'm going to guess that has a knock on effect of being responsible for everything? I mean technically you could say that Africa is responsible for all inventions on Earth because we are all ancestors of people who originated there.
