Imho it's totally fine: you have to work hard to get those perfet Ivs Pokémon if you really want them, but if you don't want to do all that work (which is extremely easy in X/Y/OR/AS) you can still breed them, but after the quicker process of breeding you'll have to level them up to level 50+ depending if/when they evolve...
