This film while not perfect still actually had a solid cast and foundation that at least could have been built upon, the main thing it needed was a better screenwriter for a sequel.

I can say as a fan of Uncharted (and of course a lot of other IPs in movies and games) that I would preffer an IP to left untoched than to get a poor work done.
