I'm guessing you didn't have Ada, then.  Can carry way more than anyone else, is a beast in combat, and actually praises you for hoarding.  She's the best companion easily.

She can even be turned into this if you want to spread carnage across the commonwealth-

I forgot about the robots. I don't use them much because of lone wanderer. The robots are a double edged sword. They're fairly good at killing but you don't get the xp from their kills.
