Ratchet & Clank is up there too, and I haven't even played all of the games. God of War, too. Basically a bunch of stuff that started on PS2 is up there - that was the golden age of Sony first-party software.

What do you mean by inconsistent? Their overall output may vary in quality, but individual franchises are very consistent with maybe Killzone as an exception.

I disagree with PS2 being their best first party period, as most PlayStation gamers I know only cared about Gran Turismo and God of War back then, but on PS3 they have many more favourites along with these like Infamous, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance and Killzone which started on PS2 but became a high quality series on PS3.

I wouldn't consider two IP's as one even if they are made by the same developer.
