Its silly to have a console and have to install part of the game to the hard drive. For regions of the world in which the 40GB model is all they have this is getting well out of hand. Hardcore gamers tend to buy a lot of games and there will be a point in which removing installs won't be an option. With game saves, DLC, PSN games, and PS1 games for download, mandatory installs are going to become more and more of an issue.
