Yes it is. It's the Housemarque devs that have made it.
The game is insanely addictive and the new update has made it even better. They've increased the level cap, added leagues, added additional difficulty levels (there is now a difficulty level that gives you a 1000%+ xp boost for its stupidly hard difficulty) and they've added little things like being able to unlock bullet colours by placing in the top 5 in the leagues.
This video doesn't cover how hectic and exclusive the game gets. I've got a shareplay video but it's so crapily put together by me, it's just plain embarrassing lol
Edit: I've added a video to OP that has a horde mode encounter. It's one of the more manageable ones. I've come come across worse believe it or not.
