The idea that they should "leave" other areas of business to focus on mobile is fundamentally stupid.  Regardless of what you think of the hardware, console software or mobile software, you should be able to understand that the three are very different business and skills.   It's not like you can take a fellow off of designing the SNES Mini and get him working on Mario Go.  Completely different areas.  The same is almost as true as saying the person programing the wind in Zelda should be working on Miitomo instead.  Very different skill sets and you don't jump from one of the other.  So you could say that Nintendo should expand its mobile business.  You could say that Nintendo's hardware sucks.  But the two are not related in any way, and taking from one does not help the other.

Ideally, I would say Nintendo should be looking to grow all areas of buisness.  If they're not trying, they suck.  They should also look to build synergy with their core gaming business and mobile titles like Go.
