Nintendo will always make a next/current gen console.

That's a pretty low bar. 

Yeah i'd be very surprised if it doesn't make it, but if the NX IS another WiiU I don't expect Nintendo to continue in the home console business. Their reputation has already taken a hit, two failures in a row is the nail in the coffin as far as that particular sector is concerned.

I don't expect the NX to be a failure though, but then again most people didn't expect the WiiU to be a failure.
