As I wrote here, they will probably show more of the NX games they will have already revealed prior to E3 2017. They could garner the same hype that LoZ has, but I doubt there are going to be any big reveals. As you yourself have just wrote above me, they really don't have to either to make a big splash.

Of Course it's important, why than they reviled their biggest game ever at E3!? Two year ago we saw just on small cinematic trailer, this was full revile, so not exactly same thing.

I wrote it way to early to talk about Nintendo E3 because we still didn't had NX reveal, when we have NX reveal than we can talk what could we expect from Nintendo at E3.

Still it isn't exactly new, and two full years of not having any new big budget titles at the show at E3 should also put things into perspective. 

When they reveal NX, it won't be at E3. When they reveal NX's launch lineup, it won't be at E3. I understand the reasoning behind it, but they are still skipping the event for their biggest reveals in three years (being no new big thing will have been at E3 in 2015, 2016, or speculatively speaking 2017. The big reveal will be outside of E3).

Hell, even Paper Mario Colour Splash was not announced at E3, which was their very last game for Wii U that was left unannounced (Zelda will more than likely be the ACTUAL last game but was announced two years prior).
