Yeah I've seen those numbers, it struggled to break even. Is 300k worldwide an achievement for a movie based on a brand that they used to think would be bigger than Mickey Mouse and Mario? Really?

It didn't struggle to break even its production budget was only $73 million dollars and it made $341 million dollars world wide.  Plus I'm sure it made a good chunck of money from cross promotions and merchandising also.
