Total hardware and software sales set a new record low for 2008.
Software sales are down 29.49% (220,000 units) compared to the same period last year (May, Week 3).
There are 9 new releases in the top 100 accounting for 23.47% of sales.
MHP2G sales passed 2M, while Wii hardware sales passed 6M.
