To be honest, I use to hate it when people said "Nintendo is for kids", but frankly, it is.  They try from time to time to give us a game that is made for adults, but really, most of their games are for kids, but it's not a bad thing, it's great kid stuff, timeless things that adults can enjoy too. Like a good pixar movie.

but you can't look at the amiibos or this http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/07/nintendo_announces_big_plans_for_san_diego_comic-con

And think : "well, Nintendo is for everyone", no, it's primarily aimed at childrens.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from, especially with the Pixar comparison. That's what makes Nintendo great imo, being able to cater to everyone. The thing is, while they certainly aim at children, most of their fanbase aren't kids. Most kids nowadays are either playing mobile games or GTA on their Xbox/PS and haven't grown up with Nintendo games. And amiibo... well, I'm sure lots of parents buy them for their children, but I'm pretty sure most adults just buy them for themselves =P

I'm not saying kids should be the only one playing and enjoying them. I enjoy them. But well, if you look at any Nintendo, at an aisle in a store, their website, anything, of course you think it's for kids. It would be weird to think otherwise.

another example is Adventure Time, I love adventure Time, but if someone sees anything about the show, without actually seeing a few episodes, they'll say, it 's for kids, and they would be right in the sens that number one target is kids.
