I guess you could argue that they're less focused on directly countering their competitions moves, but i wouldn't call that "resting on their laurels". They're still actively engaged with their audience, they clearly have a lot of games in development, and they're pushing forwards with multiple different hardware projects.

All that's really changed is that their market position is such that they can focus more on their own moves than their competitions. They can put more resources into stuff like PSVR, without having to worry as much about how its success or failure could impact their position.

There is plenty of discussion to be had on the effectiveness of the moves they're making, and what they can do better, but they're clearly not sitting around doing nothing.
