I wouldn't say UFC2, yeah looks stunning, BUT the graphics aren't demanding as in games were You can interact with environment, as on tekken, DOA, MKX, and even SFV. I think that so far MKX is looking better this generation, and would say Guilty GEar Xrd Revelator too, funny enough, both games uses modified UE3. But I think that Tekken will look GREAT, the backgrounds, details on them on the characters, all the particles and otehr effects, the lighting, shadows, 3D character models, so far what I've seen, Tekken 7 Fated Retribution (The recent update Not the original Vanilla arcade one) will become the best looking game this gen. There's a notable improvement so far: |
The character models, arena, and visual polish are just better than what we're seeing other fighting games. But its 30 fps, that allows for a lot more polish. Hence, arcade fighting games are generally built around the consoles to be 60 fps and that's often a limiting factor for pushing graphics.
Even looking at that picture of Tekken, its got a great style but nothing amazing. Frankly, that could be 7th gen based on DOA5.
