When Pokemon Go came out I was really sick, I downloaded the app but didn't even launch it. Next day I had to go to a few stores so I figured while I was out to give it a go, eventhough I played it very briefly at the stores a few people asked me if I was playing Pokemon, when I replied "yeah" they said they've seen it all over facebook.

Later that night I decided to go for a walk, ended up walking over 10 miles hitting stops around town, I ended up at a library where I saw 3 trainers on the steps. This was the first time I've seen other trainers, it was cool. We talked for a bit then parted ways. Little did I know how popular the app actually was. The next day I decided to go for another walk, it was during the daytime. Right when I hit outside an older man in his 40s or 50s asked if I was catching pokemon, While walking around people would yell pokemon across the street or as they pass by in a car. I go to a hotspot near a church and a car pulls up and yells "team mystic" I walk up the street and two guys pass by me and say "Team Valor". This is insane. I keep running into trainers and doing some small talk, This is when I notice this game is huge.

Next day I make a pilgrimage to this bridge outside of my old house, I hear from people it's a busy place. I go there and there's groups of people everywhere. There's 3 pokestops right by eachother next to a creek, seems to be a popular stop. I'm amazed and scared of the amount of people playing. I head home after an hour or so to shower and get ready for work. I walk home by this area every day after I work so I figure I'll come back and it wont be as busy...

11pm (about 2 hours ago) I start walking home, I see a huge crowd from a distance. As I get closer it only gets bigger, there's literally 50+ people along this side of the street camping around these 3 stops, I feel like I'm actually in the Pokemon universe. cars are going by and every few minutes you hear someone yell a team, pokemon, or just play the theme music. Actual ambulances are going by and playing the theme song on the intercom, I'm seeing so many people I've never seen before outside at this time, I run into people I haven't seen in a long time like my ex-manager. Couples are going out catching pokemon as a date, everyone looks around 18-30 and there's actually a lot of females. The hype is real, I've never seen anything like this before in my life.

And this is only a city with around a population of 17k, I can't imagine what it's like in bigger cities. What is your city like?
