Soundwave said: I don't see a billion downloads ... that's quite a bit, how many games have even done that?
Neodegenerate said: Billion lifetime is completely unrealistic. I would say 50 million tops.
So... how's your appetite for crow these days?
ghost_of_fazz said: Well, Ingress by itself has had more than 10,000,000 downloads. Attach the Pokémon name to it, make it free, make it cool... Yeah, at least some 5,000,000 first week.
It probably hit that within it's first day
asqarkabab said: Pokemon fans will download it
Which now happens to nearly everyone. Huzzah!
spurgeonryan said: 100-500 million. But pokemon will not be as big as Angry birds originally was.
It may even be bigger...
AZWification said: Those numbers a bit low, don't you think? I'm expecting 600 million FW and 6 billion when it's all said and done.
This seemed like a crazy post then - but you might be right now!
GoldenTriforce said: 2M first week, 30M lifetime. It will also be spammed with Wii U and 3DS ads, like the rest of Nintendo's apps (hopefully, they need to use these to market their consoles)
Surprisingly - no ads (yet) and no integration with My Nintendo which I found odd
shakarak said: I'm expecting 10 million first week, 3 billion on earth, and 8 billion downloads when it reaches the nearest exoplanet.
Not gonna lie - outer space should be on Pokemon GO's frontier in the next few years. SpaceX should provide moon missions to go catch Clefairy.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
