There's an equal amount of rumours saying it's in between the PS4 and Neo and even beyond it (which I don't believe).
OT: They still make a profit on consoles/handhelds and that's not changing any time soon with the NX (which is apparently going to be sold for a profit at launch). As long as their core handheld/console markets are bringing in profits, they don't have a reason to abandon them. It'd make about as much sense as Sony quitting PlayStation because of their insurance business.
