Just so you know, your Wii friend code allows you to chat Wii to Wii, to play games with friends with certain games like Brawl and MKWii they come with their own CD friend codes.
Also games like BWii use the Wii's friend codes to lock in friends with the game - I think it's the same for strikers.
It's usually blatant how to find out each games friend code though, like it's right in front of you most of the time.
Also you don't need FC to play online with other people, but to play with your friends you do (kind of, you might just bump into them)
