I don't think a mobile game is a success for Nintendo. Their main business is hardware platforms, not videogames.

And Apple's main business was desktop computers once upon a time. Today it's probably the 4th or 5th largest part of their business. Market changes, things change.

If Nintendo starts becoming incredibly successful as a mobile app maker ... it will change the company, I don't have much doubt about that.

I sure hope Nintendo doesn't turn into yet another garbage mobile game developer... mobile is cancer. I don't get how casuals like primitive Atari-era games, microtransactions and pay-to-win.
