I have a friend in Texas who mentioned in a mail recently that she got her open carry license and will be proudly display her gun now. I didn't even know in what context she was talking about, but it seemed to be some kind of issue with protesting gun laws.
So if that man was openly carrying a gun and it was legal, then he is not the one to blame. It's the only viable way he could have defended himself from these shooters.
...and yes, my post turned sarcastic at some point.
