I suppose that depends on what we mean by profits... plenty of consoles, including some ones that did very well in terms of total sales (Xbox360 comes to mind), never turned a profit.
What's the phrase they use... gross profits? If it's that for the Wii U, not taking expenses into account, I'd be surprised if Pokemon Go surpasses it lifetime.
This year, though, honestly I have no way of estimating or guessing lol... All I know is that I'm getting texts from all my friends who know I'm into games simply assuming that I'm playing this game and asking for my username heh, this game is huge atm
