The shootings are the tip of the iceberg, there are many more present steps of racism that we need to acknowledge as a country that happen before it gets to that level. How is it that a presidential candidate(Trump) can freely discuss how he wants to get rid of immigrants out of the United States and we not realize how bad of a place we are in? I think these crimes against all innocent people are inexcusable, but until you've been in the shoes of many minorities who throughout their lives have been on the receiving end of racial profiling, it's hard for most to have a perspective on the real world.

Many people here probably shouldn't comment on to why these situations escalate to levels like this and only get major attention because someone so happened to record the initial shooting on their phone. I do feel that cops in the line of duty need to protect themselves, but why are they always shooting to kill when there are so many other parts of the body to take down a suspect. Having this much drama in our own country just proves that we have no business being in someone else's telling them how to live and what's right or wrong!
