Damn, I feel ignorant about this subject. I thought it was like a few dozen yearly, and it would still be 5-10 times more proportionally than European nations (just like the American homicide rate is 5-10 times bigger than in Western Europe). What the hell is going on? Is there some kind of racism behind this after all? (not directly, but structurally in the police culture). Something is very wrong in how they view human life.
