The thing that bothers me is when you are forcefully manhandling someone like that you are going to cause a person discomfort. When your body experiences discomfort like that it is hard to remain completely still. Yet one officer puts the gun to the mans chest threatening to shoot if he moves again. It's a lose/lose situation. These officers lucked out because this man had a checkered past and they can also say he was resisting arrest. The officer that shot the gentleman in Minnesota yesterday evening wasn't so lucky as that guy was a stand up citizen and was actually complying with the officer when shot.

You might be right on the officers being lucky due to their past and the resisting arrest, but there's the wildcard of the missing bodycam. Why did the camera mysteriously went missing? Also, without the bodycam, some of the officer's claims could be refuted. The phone recording, on the other hand, gives the officers a not very flattering point of view.
