Game was definitely a development at least two years, and definitely was in development last year, most likely they had Wii U version near finished when they decided to project to NX.

Of Course, we just exchange opinions. ;) For me it's very obvious that Pikmin 4 is in development and most likely we will see it in NX 1st year.

But that's exactly what he did with Pikmin 3! He said they were working on it at e3 a few years back even though that wasn't the truth. :p 

You really don't know that, espacily because in meantime they move project to Wii U. I relly dont see point of annucing game on you dont work at all, Nintendo never done that before.
