When do homepage hardware numbers get updated now?

The supporters program was an idea to combat adverts and to give 3 votes instead of one on comments on the front page, they can still do that (for some reason)

 

I'm sure that some of the money was supposed to go to the site employees to add incentive to update the site more regularly?
