Well, this is good news for you then. That is my point, there is no real loss for anyone.

You prefer to play on consoles but when you get the option to play the games also on PC then the money saving is more important for you. This would be also the case with exclusives from other consoles then so that it wouldn't make much sense for you to say "great that Nintendo/Sony don't release their games on PC even though money saving is important for me so that I wouldn't have to buy their hardware for it"

I would love Nintendo to go third party, and I'd be fine with Sony games on PC as long as it caused no negative effects on it's home console business.

Well, I guess sales would maybe decline but not too much. I doubt as example Sony would sell only 40 million instead of 100m+ PS4s. Maybe 10m less or so but not more.

Sure, Sony wouldn't invest so much in the graphics of games like Uncharted if their console sales would be irrelevant because they want to sell consoles with these investmentes but yeah, I don't think PC gaming is such a huge threat to console gaming that Sony wouldn't still sell enough consoles.

Sony doesn't do it because they have not really much from it but if they would do it then their console business would be still fine i suppose. And with that  console only gamers could still enjoy their PS4 as much as before.
