Nice, haven't played Mother 3 myself. If it's darker than Earthbound, then I might need to take a look at it. It's only available through emulation right? Since that's the one Nintendo never localized I believe.

Correct, for now at least. Last we heard the rumor was that it was being localized. My guess is if it is, it's as an NX title with the other two or something as a package but that's entirely conjecture. 

 

Earthbound is dark in a satirical way to me; Mother 3 is straight up brutal at times.
