we already do.
Nintendo learned nothing from the wii u. They just prooved that this and last year. NX wont change anythings.
Games like mario tennis ultra smash, animal crossing amiibo festival, mario&sonic rio 2016, Star fox zero, Paper Mario CS showed us that nintendo still dont make the games their community want. Nothing will change with NX. |
The only two that have any validity of what you listed are Star Fox and Paper Mario. Star Fox was a case of developer overconfidence and the choice not to implement regular controls, and Paper Mario by every metric has been a case of Nintendo legitimately just best stupid to the fact that this isn't what we want out of PM. The others you listed are video games being released so the system has video games. There's nothing particularly wrong with any of them, Amiibo Festival's terrible gimmick aside.
People who generalize Nintendo as a company like you did above need to realize that Nintendo isn't one guy. The influence of Iwata is still taking shape in every game they've released since his death. Kimishima's influence is effectively only going to be on NX marketing; even the NX itself is a response to the Wii U's failure, not a new creation headed by Kimishima's vision. That will be the case essentially for the entire lifetime of the system, with his direct influence dimming steadily as the projects started in 2015 are steadily released.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
