At the end of the day, it doesn't matter; no one gets to directly vote for the president from this point on, anyway. That's the silly aspect of the election - that people think their vote means anything past the primaries (pro-tip: they don't). 

Trump has many things on his platform but most of them are there because he believe thats is what people want to hear.  If you ever watch or read a fact check during any Trump speach most times he either flat out lie or just goes off the top of his head without a shread of proof.  Maybe he will get better during the presidency but I doubt it.

Not sure what you mean on your last point but if you are sayig the presidency is rigged, then I higly doubt Obama would ever had made it to office.
