so i watched it the other day, its a stupid movie, so much makes no fucking sense. here are just some of the questions i had regarding this movie. this is just stuff that didnt make sense to me, or questions i have about the movie that feel like they are major plot holes. im not even getting into the shitty dialogue.

How DARE you insinuate that this movie had a plot!

- what the fuck was that dream? and why the fuck was it in the movie? it didnt mean anything

It was sequel-baiting, showing us a dark future of Darkseid's reign over Earth with Superman as an enforcer.  Basically, at some point, Snyder realized how shitty BvS was, so he showed us a few minutes of a better movie and forced it in with a Flash cameo.

- why was superman suddenly concerned about batman, when batman has been doing his thing for 20 years now?

Only recently has Batman been torturing people.  The weird part is how nobody gave a shit that Batman's kid sidekick wielded a battle-ready halberd.

- why did batman suddenly stop wanting to kill superman, and being afraid of his power, because both of their mothers name is martha?

Because reasons.

- why would kryptonians carry kryptonite on their ship if it weakens them?

Because Snyder realized that Batman had no way to figure out that Kryptonians were weakened by their own atmosphere (Man of Steel) and thus could not weaponize the established vulnerability.  Knowing this and being a terrible writer, he defaulted to the Kryptonian allergy, despite Superman going to extreme lengths in MoS to keep humanity far from anything remotely relevant to his people.

- why was lex luthor allowed full access to the ship site and zod's body without any supervision what so ever? he isnt a goverment official, why did he have access without even somebody saying "hey, what ya doin?"

Because Lex Luthor was the saddest, sad sack they've ever seen--clearly a mentally-unhinged man-child--so they thought to themselves "What could possibly go wrong?"  The real question is why Superman allowed humans within a hundred miles of that stuff when in MoS he was Hellbent on keeping people away from stuff like that.  Because reasons?

- when superman and luise lane have sex, does she call him daddy?

Naw, she's his dom.

- lex wanted to kill superman because he was afraid he could use his power to destroy or hurt humanity. so his answer to that was to create a monster that is even stronger than superman to kill superman... then kill humanity... how does this make sense?

Because Snyder was already shitting on Dark Knight Returns, Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman Origins, Injustice Gods Among Us, Flashpoint Paradox; he really, really wanted to shit on Death of Superman, too.

- lex knew batman had the kryptonite that was stolen from him, what would lex have done if batman actually killed superman using it, what was going to happen with doomsday then?

Lex would have filed that under "Not My Problem Anymore".

- lex has been spying on wonder woman for a long time, digging up kryptonite and doing all sorts of shit, why didnt he have one fucking security guard to guard his data? which could have been stolen within just 7 minutes

Because Lex had backup copies of all this data, so he thought to himself "If I don't mess with Wonder Woman for poops and giggles, Snyder won't be able to force her into the movie!"

- how did lex know how to create doomsday? how was it even possible? why would the kryptonian ship know how to do it, how does it even have the equipment to do it? how did lex even know what the fuck it was doing? what was doomsday made of, zods dead body and that water thing in the ship? this whole thing just doesnt make sense to me.

Lex really, really wanted to help Snyder shit on Death of Superman.  Lex remembered how mopey he was when he didn't have a hand in Superman's death.

- if wonder womans sword could cut off doomsdays hand, why didnt they just use it to kill doomsday instead of the kryptonite? since it obviously can hurt it.

Because that would have JUSTIfied her being in the movie and that would have broken the combo.  Awwwwww, Justice League pun epic fail.

- why would batman drag doomsday back to the city near the spear, when he could have just quickly flied there and back to where doomsday was with the spear? it would have been a lot easier for him to just go get it and come back to doomsday.

Because they thought that fewer people would be in danger if they went with their plan----and they might have been right if Doomsday hadn't started randomly exploding.  The whole spear was stupid, though.  Thematically, it would have made more sense for the Bat to carry the Kryptonite on his person in a lead case (though Superman forgot he had X-Ray vision in this movie, but Batman couldn't have KNOWN about Plot-Induced Stupidity) and instead of using it as a knife, uses it at a branding iron.  It would keep with his treatment of criminals, and he'd be able to put it away in the lead case afterward--not to mention it'd still be available even if the fight didn't happen to wind up exactly where the Bat needed it to.  But hey---since when does Batman have contingency plans, am I right?

- after being in space, and a fucking nuke hitting and exploding doomsday and superman from beneath, how did doomsday return back to earth? when there was no gravity to pull him, the nuke's explosion logically pushing him further into space (not sure if that makes sense even, can a nuke explode in space?), and his entire momentum pushing him further away from earth?  shouldnt he have drifted away in space?

At the very least, it should have taken well over an hour for Doomsday to fall.  The ground is very, very far away when you're in space.  Batman would have had time to grab the spear, weaponize it for Doomsday, prep the Batplane, coordinate a two-pronged attack with Wonder Woman and join the Mile High Club---all before Doomsday hits the ground.

- how did wonder woman come to lex's party in the first place? wasnt she laying low? then how did she get invited to the party?

Because Wonder Woman wouldn't been in the movie otherwise, and then they wouldn't be able to bask in Gal Gadot's reflected hotness on set.

- why did people think superman killed those people in the desert when they were shot, why would superman even use a gun? the guy can shoot lasers out of his fucking eyes.

Dude.  It's not like the World's Greatest Detective would have any desire to investigate the------oh.  Huh.  Well, I guess Batman's entire motivation in the movie would have driven him to do this.  Okay.  Dude, it's not like the World's Greatest Detective is just across the harb-----oh.  Huh.  Guess the WGD was just...right over there...and completely willing/able to to confirm/deny Superman's involvement.  I guess humans are just.......stupid.....because reasons?

- i still dont know if people knew that superman was clark kent. it doesnt make sense if they couldnt tell. not one bit.

"There's no way that Superman is Clark Kent.  Clark Kent wears glasses.  If he took 'em off, he wouldn't be able to see."--humanity.

It was a stupid, stupid movie, and it expected the audience to make excuses for its failings.  The truth is, the Director is beholden to the audience (not the other way around) and Snyder failed this duty on mythic proportions.
