I can explain most of those questions, but it is still an awful movie. Especially, Lex Luthor. They really fucked up his character. Superman is bad, most of the secondary characters are annoying, Batman and Alfred were surprisingly decent, but holy shit was Luthor a trainwreck.
Yes, let's turn him from a ruthless, dominating corporate mastermind into a twitching, autistic man-child that wants to kill Superman because he didn't stop daddy from hitting him.
