The most funniest thing is actually of them not having a plan.
It's like being on a ship with not actually knowing if it will sink or not. You still make the jump and think: "Fuck, I should've taken the rescue boat with me". Now you are floating in an open sea and have to come up with a plan.
Well, in reality, they are still standing on the railing and didn't have made up there mind. And every other passenger is screaming: "JUMP!"
