Didn't say that. I said that you have an indifference to feminists being sexist and misandric.

I hate that excuse "they're not real feminists". She represents feminists because she identifies herself as one. Feminists are not voting into the club. To the world, she's a feminist because she says she is one. That's all that really matters because whatever actions she takes or words she says, colors how people see feminism. It's no different than how islamic terrorists represent the Islamic religion or how a whore mongering christian represents christainity. Saying someone is not a part of the group they identify with because they are the fringe/extreme element of that group is a petty and lazy way to avoid taking responsibility for their actions or words.

Its not an excuse.  Anyone can call themselves anything but it does not mean that they actually are.  There are pure white people that say they are black and there are pure black people that say they are white but just because they proclaim it does not make it true.  There are people that say they are Christian but do not practice the religion and that is the same for a lot of different religion.   So what if she identifies herself as a feminist, if she doesn't know the first thing what the term means she is just another imposter.

If I take the time to actually do my research and see what a Feminist actually believe in, nothing from the first feminist to your current one states anything about hating men.  Instead it’s about women rights and wanting to be considered equal.  So if someone decides to throw their own personal opinion about hating men and claim this is a feminist view, I believe I am intelligent enough to know that this probably is one person opinion amount thousands who do not share that view.  The key is being intelligent about anything people say instead of just believing something from someone else mouth because they state it.  Its the difference between a person who follow anything someone says and someone who takes the time to know.

So no, I do not believe this young girl is actually a feminist but instead is using the term as a means to preach her own agenda.

All that matters is that she identifies herself as a feminist and people see her as one which they do. Especially if other feminists see her as one. I definitely don't see any feminists denouncing her as a feminist or calling her out on her misandry. If she's a true to the definition feminist or not doesn't matter because that's not I'm talking about. Perception. She's a feminist pop star and her misandry is overlooked. Hell, it's even applauded. She's seen as a great singer who believes whole heartly in feminism. Young women look up to her as a role model.
