I'll give an example of how influential ideas rooted in cultural marxism are in today's society. Something that you may have not thought of.

LGBT rights. But to avoid any misunderstandings, first I have to say that I don't have anything against LGBT people and I sympathize with them in cases they are marginalized or discriminated, mainly outside of my own country. I dislike the so called "LGBT rights movement" for its attack on traditional family values, its multiculturalism agenda and its hypocrisy (by embracing immigrant groups and ideologies that are in opposition to LGBT)

The awareness of LGBT as a minority has become huge in society very fast. In Sweden, there's a trend among our institutions to become "LGBT certified". All sorts of offices in our municipalities, health care divisions, family care offices, treatment centers, dentists, elderly care homes, youth centers, schools, libraries and swimming baths enthusiastically go through the process to become LGBT certified, under the guidance of the national LGBT association. Even a Swedish icehockey team is LGBT-certified! I work in a hospital that is LGBT-certified.

This all happened in just a few years, and it's not due to a state decree or something, these initiatives pop up spontaneously everywhere. I've even seen representatives of the LGBT movement say that they are amazed of how fast this awareness spreads. It's beyond their wildest dreams. They were totally taken by surprise.

Now what's cultural marxism about this? The idea that LGBT people as a minority need special consideration is clearly leftist, but also how astoundingly fast these rights and this special care is not only accepted, but spread and established in society. And how easy it all happens! There exists almost no criticism or opposition. Very few dare to speak out and question this in fear of consequences. I've seen a few articles question it, but the vast majority of people are open and accepting. They have been ideologically prepared. So prepared that I think by reflex many regard any criticism as hatemongering.

So what's the problem? In this case not that much, but this was taken an example of the influence of cultural marxism on society.

But what's problematic is that I don't think LGBT earns that mindspace, time, money and energy it's been given by public institutions. The natural question becomes, why they and not somebody else? There are many other groups in society that could be described as marginalized and discriminated at. It's just so apparent that it's based on a very politically correct thing without any deeper thought behind it and that people have become easy target for lobbyists.

Another problem is that the next step, sooner or later, will be special consideration for a certain religion and its adherents.
