We've evolved socially on lots of issues, and you know what? By and large that's a good thing. It's a good fucking thing that black people don't have to ride the back of a bus or are treated like animals, or people are open minded enough not to judge a person on their sexuality or a million other things.
Sometimes things go overboard but by and large we are better off, and you know something else? The 1960s+ are never coming back.
And good riddance to it. A society that lives in shame and fear of a religious book was never going to last our level of technological progress was always going to stop it.
