Hah! There are still so many people who don't understand what cultural marxism is.
It's not economical socialism or your good old communism. Instead it's a battle in a new area - our culture. The battle of control over our values, our behaviour, our thoughts and our minds. This started to happen in the 60's. It's a strategy the left tend to take when they realize that the economical battle against capitalism is hopeless, or what happens when a society becomes so rich and prosperous that even the poor start to have decent lives, at that point many in the left change focus away from economy.
So cultural marxism can be very dominant and thriving even in a McDonalds and Coca-cola land, there's no contradiction there. Actually, the richer a country is, the easier it is to spread cultural marxism.
Cultural marxism is by far the most important phenomenon in ideology and politics in Western societies today.
