If they're good, I'll buy them.

I won't support third party for the sake of supporting third party. They have to bring the goods. I can get by on just Nintendo and second-party titles, if necessary; I'm not in it for charity, I won't give money to third parties to try to coax them into putting more effort into their games - it doesn't work.

When you commit to buying third-party games in an effort to attract more third-party games, it sends the message that lower quality can be given without a problem; and then, if people stop supporting shitty games, they use the drop in sales to justify not supporting the system at all. It happened with the Wii so much, it wasn't funny.

So here's what I'll commit to: I'll buy third-party titles that are well made for NX and fall within my usual tastes (I'm not a fan of horror games, so I won't buy those, for instance). Putting in a subpar effort, making titles that are inferior to their counterparts on other systems, will net a "no thanks" from me.
