What? Where is that coming from? 1080p/60fps standard with all the next gen bells and whistles is what I'm expecting, as well as upscaling games to 4K and perhaps some native 4K games.

But it does the exact same thing a $349 system can do and nothing more than updated media playback. Is it worth another $600 to get the new system when it doesn't do anything new? I don't think it is.
