An opinion they, and you, are completely entitled to. I mean, somebody must like Michael Bay movies, they routinely bring in hefty box office hauls. I personally find them insipid and soulless, but to each their own.

I'd argue it's a mather of bias. Because from your example (Michael Bay), I'd say both him and Nintendo are guilty of the same sins.
