Yes, pretty much the same uneducated older voters primarily concerned about racism, and it's hurting their country.  In a similar way, Trump (Mr. Bankrupcy) supporters are short sighted angry people that will sacrifice jobs, the country, and the people that work for a living for some myopic illusion.

So the Brits should just readily welcome the islamic extremists on their borders now ? What your saying is that the the founding fathers of the United States fought for an illusion which is sovereignty just like what Trump and his supporters is doing now ?

Look at how the world is reacting to the UK leaving EU and probably breaking up.  Scotland is working on another referendum and one of their largest supporters for UK unity, JR Rowling, is now for leaving and having Scotland part of the EU again.  Think about it - how much does she proudly pay in taxes?  Millions and Millions?  Billions?  She has more money than the queen - she props up Millions of people and proudly assist ‘the welfare state’ (not the same as the US), and all that along with London as the world banking power is now going to leave (the business said before the vote they would leave if the UK left the EU.)

Most of it is an over reaction and if Scotland wants their independence again only to be taken away by the nanny state (EU) once more then let them have it LOL ...

Now the UK has to renegotiate all sorts of treaties - they fear one of their few manufacturing, auto, might face huge tariffs - and thus be lost.  So much wasted time on negotiations!  As well as so much food is imported to the UK, will the falling pound, now all of that cost more.  Plus foreigners can now go buying up more parts of the UK – so much for their plan for ‘sovereignty.’

What good were the negotiations from the EU when when they didn't even match the interests of the UK according to voter turnout ? Sure they might face tariffs from EU members but they depend more on the UK than it is the other way around since the EU has a trade surplus with he UK. Better a land that can make it's own laws than the unelected bureaucrats in the Brussels ...

Is that what people wanted?  To put the UK on the auction block?  Well, that's what happens.  And if Trump get elected, it will be even worse for the USA.  All he has to do is go on one of his rants, and one or two OPEC country switch from US Dollars to Euros.  It will devastate the stability of the US Economy, and that's just one consequence to his manicness.  (I'm still not convinced he isn't just joking though.)

It is what the people wanted, in fact it was determined DEMOCRATICALLY. Trump is in it to protect his own nations interest in the face of foreign powers around the globe where Hillary would so gladly give up America's sovereignty and democracy in face of a unified dictatorship across the globe much like the proponents of the remain camp ...

Do you want the USA to break up in a similar way?  Do you think that would be good?

Yes, I do want the US to be divided since it'll tell us who those who do not respect their own country's sovereignty do NOT deserve to have a democracy ...

I am so proud that the anti-global political power movement is gaining traction so when November comes I want people to stick it in the pro-establishments behind by derailing Clinton's presidential campaign and I will be extremely thrilled about hearing news of other EU members memberhip referendum ...

The politically left may as well be politically synonmous with dictatorship these days if they promote government for globalism so much ...

It's extremely naive to believe that the rest of the world has the best interests for the US much like the EU for the UK ...

Capitalism inevitably creates global markets, you can't have it both ways, it's not the 20th century anymore, the world is global and connected and nothing is going to change that, I think people just need to get over that. The internet is a thing now the very fact that I can chat with you right now whereas 30-40 years ago we'd have no interface at all is proof of that, global travel is easier and cheap, etc. etc.

If I'm running a business I don't give a fuck about national soverignty, I will make my product at the lowest cost where I can get it so I can maximize my profit and I want access to the global market, not just 1 or 2 markets.

That's the way of the world now, and it was inevitable. Quite frankly the 20th century sucked anyway, not sure why people agrandize the past so much. The world we live in now is much better. Having school kids do drills about hiding under your desk because of a nuclear attack or an entire generation losing their lives because of WW2 ... I'm sorry but I'd much rather live in the now.
