If anything it makes things worse. We won't see a full generational leap until 2020. Or even 2022. Sony should have skipped Neo altogether and launched PS5 in 2018. It would have blown Scorpio out of the water and would have forced MS to abandon the X1 in order to keep up with the new PS5 standard. Now we'll be looking at PS4/X1 as the base version for games for the next 4 years at least.
