Well since people are talking shit, I'll add my uh... support for the Gargoyle's Quest recommendation. It's a really solid game, but I won't put my 105% Rubang guarantee on it like I will with the 5 games in my previous post. It's more like an 80% recommendation.

But also... I want to warn you about the handheld MegaMan games. I played 2 of 'em, and don't remember which ones, and I found them to be pretty mediocre. I mean, they're classic 2-D MegaMan style, but it's like Capcom put all their effort into the NES games and the GB ones were an afterthought. If they're super cheap, definitely pick one of them up, but I'd be more picky about the price with those games. If somebody charges a hefty price just because they know the MegaMan franchise name, they're full of shit. It's not handheld Mario/Zelda quality.

But of course, if you're a huge 2-D MegaMan fan, discard everything I just said.

And for any of these, I'd look around on eBay and shit before you even go shopping. Retro games are either super cheap or super expensive, online or in real life. It's like the sellers are either ignorant of the value or ignorant of the suckitude. They never give them the decent middle prices they're worth.
