For Zelda and Metroid yes.... Smash bros most likely. Everything else feels like it's been becoming half assed. The last couple of Mario games weren't fun and it was tedious to finish it. I found it very simple and I was bored to death at a lot of parts. I just want my fun, unique, and risk taking Mario games like Sunshine, 64, and Galaxy. I prefer each one to be different. Galaxy 2 felt unnecessary and the smaller scaled planets were rather.... limited in exploration factor and G2 was far more linear.
I just want them to be fun again and make their games have that Nintendo magic again. The new Zelda looks like it's going to do just that. I believe this is the real reason the Wii U was lackluster. Smash Bro's and Mario Kart 8 was great, Splatoon is interesting. I think Pikmin 3 was one of their best game this gen by far. That had many forms of fun. They just had less games over all and few of them had Nintendo's famous quality behind it.
